The Japanese Photochemistry Association Award for Young Scientist: Awarded to a young scientist who has made an outstanding achievement in the study of photochemistry.
The Japanese Photochemistry Association Award for Distinguished Contribution to Photochemistry: Awarded to a scientist who has made significant contributions to the study of photochemistry in Japan or to the Japanese Photochemistry Association.
The Japanese Photochemistry Association Special Award: Awarded to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the study of photochemistry in Japan in terms of technology, devices or education, etc. or to a foreigner who has made a special contribution to the study of photochemistry in Japan.
The Japanese Photochemistry Association Award for Technical Development: Awarded to a person who has made an especially outstanding achievement in the development or industrialization of a technology using photochemistry.
